Mrs. Katie Kilian

Welcome to ELA in the Park!   

I am really looking forward to working with your child this year. 

I attended Bloomsburg University (Pennsylvania) where I obtained my BS in education in 1998 and Lehigh University (Pennsylvania) where I received my MS Ed in 2001.  I have taught in PA, CA and VA public schools and have experience teaching USMC spouses, preschool, and Sunday School.  It feels like teaching has always been a part of who I am!  

I am married to Marine and we have three daughters (two attend NWMPS and one at Jacksonville HS).  We have lived in California, Virginia, Maryland, South Carolina, North Carolina, Germany, Pennsylvania, and Florida.  We are FINALLY settled back here in Jacksonville with no intent to leave anytime soon.  We LOVE coastal living.  

When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family boating/at the beach, reading, and watching Philadelphia sports teams!
