Welcome to Northwoods Park Middle School!

Hello Dolphin families!

My name is Shanta' Cooks and I am the principal at Northwoods Park Middle School! This is my 2nd year as principal at NWPMS and 4th year as a principal with Onslow County Schools. 

There are lots of physical changes happening across our campus this year! As you come on campus you will notice massive construction! We are excited about the major transformations that will occur over the next few years! We appreciate your patience as we navigate new procedures and routines.

We will continue to focus on AVID implementation across the campus to promote student success and organization.  Our goal is to Raise the Bar for 100% of our students and staff.  Our school theme for this year is "Lets GLOW together".  As a Dolphin family it is our hope that we can work together to ensure success for all students.  If you have questions or concerns regarding your child please feel free to contact me via email at shanta.cooks@onslow.k12.nc.us or phone (910) 347-1202.
